Eric Prydz played Colorado’s Decadence Festival on New Year’s Eve, and dropped his private edit of U2’s ‘New Year’s Day’. You can watch footage of the track being played below.

It isn’t the first time Prydz has played his rework of the Irish band’s hit, as he first premiered it in 2014, but the Swedish DJ/producer has rarely aired it since.

Prydz revealed that he will release a new album under his Pryda alias in 2017 earlier this week (Tuesday 3rd January), when he uploaded an image of a desktop folder titled 'PRYDA 2017 ALBUM' on Twitter.

He also debuted a new track in December at a charity show held in honour of one of his fans, James Lillo, who passed away recently after a battle with cancer.

Listen to Eric Prydz’ private edit of U2’s ‘New Year’s Day’ below.
