Eric Prydz announces bespoke VOID live show for Steel Yard

The Creamfields superstructure gets special treatment from the super star...

Eric Prydz has announced a bespoke VOID live show for his show at Creamfields' Steel Yard this Friday 23rd August.

"VOID is a unique lighting installation specifically designed for the Steel Yard to reflect the industrial, underground feel of this iconic structure," Prydz said via Twitter.

Far from inaccurate, the stage is a mammoth indoor superstructure reminiscent of an aircraft hangar. Introduced to the Cheshire festival in 2016, Steel Yard is an event in its own right, hosting headliners at sessions in London's Finsbury and Victoria parks, including Prydz's HOLO live show, and Liverpool docks.

Creamfields, which features in our Top UK events for August 2019, has confirmed a huge bill for the cavernous metal canopy this year. The likes of Carl Cox, Pan-Pot, Nicole Moudaber, and Adam Beyer with Prydz's Cirez D alter-ego are also locked-in. Heavyweight names, albeit just a fraction of the full line-up, ahead of the event Prydz unveiled a new album under his Pryda alias.
