DMC World DJ Championships announce dates for virtual 2020 event

Ten finalists will battle it out at the 35th annual turntablism competition

The 35th Technics/DMC World DJ Championships has announced its dates for 2020's virtual edition, with finalists going head-to-head for the crown on 27th November.

In September the event announced it would be online-only for 2020, a result of the coronavirus pandemic, and contenders have been battling it out since then. On 16th November, the final ten turntablists who will compete for the top title are due to be announced, picked from 15 World Elimination Finalists, which currently include UK player JFB, USA's Immortal, Algeria's DJ Dino, DJ Kitsos of Greece, and France's Tony J Kut, who will hope to repeat the past success of fellow countryman and two-times winner DJ Skillz
