DJ EZ to revive techno and house alias, Elvin Zedo

The UK Garage don goes back to his roots (again)...

DJ EZ will revive his techno and house alias, Elvin Zedo, originally conceived back in 2004.

The announcement was made by the acclaimed UK garage turntablist via a video posted to Facebook, in which he explained the genres his moniker focuses on have 'always had a special place in my heart'.

"I'm super-excited to let you know about my DJ alias, Elvin Zedo," DJ EZ said. "[It] was created in 2004 as an avenue for me to play house and techno, which were the genres I played at the very start of my DJ career.

"Those of you who have followed my DJ career may already know this, and may remember that I played house and techno under the name of DJ Easy O in the early years. Now the time has come for me to reconnect with the music of my roots."

Anyone looking to experience the new project first hand should note a 10-hour Boiler Room set this weekend and head to EZ’s Facebook for competition details.
