Deadmau5 announces his first film soundtrack will be released next week

Deadmau5 has announced his first ever film score, for Netflix's 'Polar', will be land next week on the same day as the film, the 25th January.

The Canadian producer, who was recently locked in for Beyond Wonderland 2019, also released the tracklist for the soundtrack, with those fans keen to pre-save the score gaining access to two of its tracks, 'midas heel', which you can listen to on DJ Mag here, as well as the LIGHTS-featuring 'drama free'.

Jonas Åkerlund, the director of 'Polar', a noir thriller based on a graphic novel, said: "deadmau5 is an unstoppable force. Taking him out of his comfort zone to compose a film, he brought power and excellence to the score without losing that deadmau5 DNA we love so much."
