Dan Farserelli drops SlapFunk-signed roller, ‘Rutty South’: Premiere

The after-hours cut drops on the imprint’s ‘Raw Joints #5’...

Dan Farserelli hits SlapFunk Records for the first time this week with ‘Rutty South’. We’ve got the exclusive premiere of the track below.

The Fuse London associate’s latest cut is landing on the label’s ‘Raw Joints #5’ release, which drops ahead of SlapFunk’s 5th anniversary celebrations later this year.

On ‘Rutty South’, Farserelli presents a funky after-hours roller that oozes groove and swing in equal parts.

Speaking about ‘Raw Joints #5’, SlapFunk label founder Nelson Yogh said, “Five years ago it all started with our very first release, ‘Raw Joints #1’.

“We wanted to build a platform for our artists to publish their music as they see it. Now 13 releases on, we're ready to introduce our biggest project ever: 'Raw joints #5'.

“To celebrate our fifth anniversary, we decided to do something special, and we had so many tracks that we decided to do a triple LP with 14 tracks on it.

“A lot of new/old artists have contributed to this heavyweight dancefloor bomb that presents various styles and energy.”
