Daft Punk share footage of the first time Pharell Williams heard 'Get Lucky': Watch

Daft Punk have shared footage of the first time Pharrell Williams heard his two contributions to their 2023 album, 'Random Access Memories': 'Get Lucky' and 'Lose Yourself To Dance'.

The footage was shared in the latest episode of the duo's 'Memory Tapes' documentary series, which features interviews with the various collaborators who appeared on 'Random Access Memories'. Discussing his work with the duo, Williams reveals that he thought he was doing demo vocals to be re-recorded by someone else when he first went into the studio with Daft Punk.

You can watch Williams' episode of 'Memory Tapes' below.

In a previous episode of the series, Todd Edwards discussed working with Daft Punk on their 2001 album 'Discovery', as well as on 'Random Access Memories'.

2023 marks 10 years since the original release of the French duo's final album. They marked the anniversary with an extended reissue, featuring 35 minutes of bonus material, earlier this year.

They will also release a 'drumless edition' of the album next month.
