Daft Punk have shared a drumless version of their 2013 track 'Motherboard'.

The alternate version of the song is set to feature on the French duo's forthcoming drumless edition of their final studio album, 'Random Access Memories', which will be released next Friday, 17th November.

The reworked 'Motherboard', which you can listen to below, is the second cut to be unveiled from the drumless edition of 'Random Access Memories', following on from the release in September of a beatless version of the track 'Within'.

'Random Access Memories (Drumless Version)' is due to be released as part of Daft Punk's ongoing 10th anniversary celebrations of their 2013 LP 'Random Access Memories'. In May, they released an expanded 10th anniversary edition of the album featuring 35 minutes of previously unreleased music.

In April, Daft Punk's Thomas Bangalter spoke out about why the duo decided to retire the project in 2021.

Revisit Gabriel Szatan's January 2022 feature on Daft Punk's landmark album 'Homework' to mark its 25th anniversary. The piece features interviews with the late, great DJ Deeon, Neil Landstrumm and more.
