Chicago’s K' Alexi Shelby announces new EP on Marcel Dettmann’s Bad Manners label
Stream the upcoming four-track EP's lead single 'We BANG'
K' Alexi Shelby has announced details of a new EP via Marcel Dettmann's Bad Manners label.
The veteran Chicago house DJ and producer - aka Mr Vertigo - will debut on the Berlin-based imprint with a four-track EP, 'BM11,' on 26th May. Pre-order it via Bandcamp.
Announced on 12th May, the EP announcement came accompanied by lead track 'We BANG'. Listen below.
The EP is the first new release on the label since Mono Junk's 'BM10' dropped last November.
Widely regarded as one of Chicago's house pioneers, K' Alexi was proclaimed as one of the teachers of the genre by Daft Punk in their seminal track 'Teachers'.
Last year, Marcel Dettmann returned to Dekmantel Records with his first new album in almost a decade, 'Fear Of Programming'.
