The Chemical Brothers have released a new single, ‘Live Again’, and shared details of their first book, Paused In Cosmic Reflection. Listen to the track below.

‘Live Again’ follows a recent string of releases from the Manchester duo, including ‘No Reason’ and ‘All Of A Sudden’ which landed earlier this year and were later remixed by O’Flynn and Ewan McVicar.

The cut features vocals from experimental Parisian singer Halo Maud and will appear on the tenth Chemical Brothers LP due this autumn, which also coincides with their 30th anniversary. The pair announced the news via Instagram, posting a photo of a billboard that read: ‘The Chemical Brothers new album fall 2023’.

In addition to the new single, The Chemical Brothers have announced details of their first official book, set for release on 26th October via White Rabbit. Paused in Cosmic Reflection is described as the “definitive story of The Chemical Brothers” retrospectively spanning their 30-year career, told by both the duo and collaborators over the years.

Written with The Chemical Brothers’ longtime press officer Robin Turner, the book collates hundreds of hours of interviews into a “kaleidoscopic history” of the group and the burgeoning electronic landscape they grew up in. The book is available for pre-order here.

Last weekend the Chems performed a ferocious Arcadia DJ set at Glastonbury 2023, featuring new singles ‘No Reason’ and ‘All Of A Sudden’, as well as beloved oldies including Kink’s edit of ‘Hey Boy, Hey Girl’. The Chemical Brothers are also set to play a UK and Irish six-date arena tour later this year, kicking off at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro on 26th October and concluding at The O2 in London on 4th November.
