Calvin Harris has revealed his plans to quit DJing within 10 years in a recent interview on Capital Dance.

The Scottish dance titan joined MistaJam and Rag’n’Bone Man – whom he recently released a new single with – in the studio earlier this week, where he shed light on his future career plans.

“I always said that once I get past 50, I can’t see me DJing,” Harris shared on Wednesday, “I’d prefer to be in the studio making tunes.”

“The more commercial end [of DJing], it can get a little bit... suspect,” Harris added.

The DJ went on to joke about googling “anti-aging supplements” in the run up to his recent 40th birthday, before sharing that he “feels good.”

As well as revealing his long-term plan to focus on the studio, Harris expressed an interest in producing for other artists: “I think that’s where the majority of my talent lies, making something sound good. So I would like to make other people’s records sound good.”

Last year, the Scottish artist linked up with Eliza Rose to release the single, ‘Body Moving’, as well as Ellie Goulding for the trance-influenced collaboration, ‘Miracle’.
