The Black Madonna is not one to miss out on a gig. Last weekend when all flights from London to Amsterdam were cancelled, the quick-thinking DJ hired a private jet to make sure she got to her set at Dekmantel’s Lente Kabinet festival on time.
In the Facebook post that revealed the news, The Black Madonna referred to the festival as a turning point in her life and a “tremendous honour to come back no matter the expense”. You can see the full post below.
Huge props to DJs doing it for the love of music, even if it cuts into their paycheck.
