Black Coffee injured in “severe travel accident” en route to Argentina gig
The artist is now in hospital and recovering
Black Coffee is receiving treatment after being injured in a "severe travel accident" en route to a gig in Mar Del Plata, Argentina.
A statement on social media has confirmed the incident took place mid-flight, and the Grammy-winning South African deep house star is now in hospital, "optimistic and recovering well."
At the time of writing, further details have not been made unavailable. This weekend Black Coffee had been due to perform at Day Zero in Tulum, Mexico, on Friday 12th, before an Istanbul show on Saturday 13th January.
"The incident resulted in unforeseen complications and left him with some injuries," the post read. "We can confirm he is receiving the best possible medical attention and is surrounded by a supportive family and team.... In respect of his privacy, we kindly request understanding and patience from the media and his fans."
