Berghain details 52-hour New Year's party, Silvester Klubnacht
Three nights across four floors in the Big House
Berlin institution Berghain has confirmed the details of its notorious 52-hour New Year's Eve event, Silvester Klubnacht, which will run across four rooms from 11.59PM on Saturday 30th December through to Tuesday 2nd January 2024.
Berghain itself will welcome several of the venue's familiars and favourites, with Norman Nodge, JakoJako, Efdemin, Steffi, The Lady Machine, Fadi Mohem, Answer Code Request, and Josey Rebelle all set to take charge.
In Panorama Bar, the likes of Avalon Emerson, Gabrielle Kwarteng, Etapp Kyle, Octo Octa, Yen Sung, PARAMIDA, and Bashkka have been announced. Meanwhile, Budino, Cormac, Pablo Bozzi, and Mala ika are among those confirmed for XXX Floor. Live performances from Tobias, Beste Hira, and Bendik Giske run alongside DJ sets from Barker, Nick Höppner, and Luke Slater as The 7th Plain in Elektroakustischer Salon.
As ever, the venue warms up for New Year's Eve with its 19th Birthday on the weekend of 9th December (featuring DVS1, Virginia, Shapednoise, and Marco Shuttle). And, later in the month, the annual Christmas Day session in Panorama Bar returns, this time with Lakuti and Tama Sumo, Chris Cruse, and Kléo, to name a few.
In October a new book, 'Berghain Nights: A Journey Through Techno And Berlin Club Culture', was announced. Written by Liam Cagney, it will be available in 2025.
