Watch the Avicii tribute concert filmed live in Stockholm

The event took place at the city's Avicii Arena

You can now watch the Avicii tribute concert filmed live at the Avicii Arena in Stockholm.

Presented by the Tim Bergling Foundation,  the suicide prevention and mental health organization founded by Avicii’s parents following his death in 2018, The Avicii Arena Together For A Better Day concert took place earlier this week, hosting "first class concert in order to focus on young people’s mental health."

Taking place at the Avicii Arena — renamed from the Ericsson Globe to honour the legacy of the Swedish EDM superstar — the concert stream features a mix of performances created by, or with help from, young people, as well as performances from Annika Norlin, Cherrie, A36, Amason, Håkan Hellström, and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, among others. There is also a special performance by Ella Tiritiello, the 14-year-old who delivered a unique rendition of Avicii's hit 'For A Better Day' at the Avicii Arena inauguration in May.

Avicii, real name Tim Bergling, took his own life in 2018. In the wake of his death, the Tim Bergling Foundation was established to explore preventative measures relating to suicide and facilitate conversations around psychological wellbeing. In 2020, the organisation launched For A Better Day, a campaign inviting young people to submit their personal concerns and ideas for improving the future, which were then passed on to Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven.

Elsewhere, Avicii's official biography was recently published. Initially set for release last year, Tim - The Official Biography of Avicii was written by Swedish journalist Måns Mosesson, who was given unique access to Tim's own notes, as well as interviews with the producer's family, friends and colleagues.

Earlier this week, it was announced that The Avicii Experience exhibition is set to open in Stockholm next spring.
