Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada, more feature on new Warp Records 10LP box set
Autechre, Mount Kimbie, Flying Lotus and Bibio also appear on 'WXAXRXP Sessions'
Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada and Autechre are among the artists featured on a new ten-LP box set from legendary UK label Warp Records, which is due to land on 15th November.
'WXAXRXP Sessions' comprises ten sets that formed part of the imprint's three-day takeover of both NTS Radio channels, which marked 30 years of pioneering electronic releases earlier this year. The collector's item package boasts high-quality audio and artwork from Michael Oswell, with two versions set to be available, vinyl and digital, alongside a special deluxe box set sold through Bleep.
The broadcasts featured every artist from the roster, with names such as Oneohtrix Point Never, LFO, Mount Kimbie, Flying Lotus, Bibio, Plaid and Seefeel making appearances, some via rare John Peel sessions originally recorded for BBC Radio 1. Special guests such as Ryuichi Sakamoto and Death Grips were also involved.
