AMAZON TO LAUNCH TICKETMASTER COMPETITOR IN THE STATES & EUROPE

Amazon is going up against Ticketmaster and Live Nation as the world's premier ticket seller.
The worldwide express shipping/goods website will be expanding to the States, Europe and Asia — according to the company's job listings page — with the company already selling tickets to musicals and selected pop shows (namely Ariana Grande and Drake) in the UK over the last 12 months.
According to FACT, Amazon is looking for people to “position Amazon Tickets as the world’s premier destination for purchasing tickets.”
According to the site there's also something called Prime Tickets in the works, which looks to be integrated into the Amazon Prime program as a whole — no further details on that as yet.
It's not the only step forward for Amazon this year, the company also launched a new and unlimited music streaming service at $3.99 a month last month, upon the release of their new speaker, Echo.
