Premiere: Yazzus ‘GOT TO HAVE UR LUV’

Femme culture will release their third annual HeForShe comp for UN Women this Friday 24th April.

This year, all proceeds raised from the compilation will go toward ensuring the needs of womxn and girls are recognised and addressed in the global COVID-19 response, as domestic violence and sexual exploitation rise as a result of increased social isolation.

The 18-track compilation features cuts from the likes of Karen Nyame KG, ELLLL, Violet, Poté, DJ Boring and more, including label co-founder Elkka. Six Figure Gang’s Yazzus also steps up with a high-speed, hardcore rave cut that feels like it’s been ripped straight from the ‘90s and given a contemporary twist. With a hefty kick, rattling breaks and a skittering vocal sample, it’s a full throttle dancefloor belter. Check it out below.
