Yak has gone from strength to strength in the past year. Following last year’s breakthrough dancefloor destroyer ‘Mido’, the recent DJ Mag Fresh Kicks mixer has played some of the UK’s finest venues as well as catching support from huge names such as Hunee, Joy Orbison, Midland, Objekt, Peggy Gou, Laurel Halo, Simian Mobile Disco, Paul Woolford and Martyn.
Now the DJ/producer – real name John Randall – is set to debut on Martyn’s revered 3024 label on its forthcoming compilation. Alongside Baltra, Juniper and Martyn himself, Yak’s ‘Lucid Nightmare’ is yet another club weapon from the UK bass inspired producer.
Percussive, deep and growling, ‘Lucid Nightmare’ is vivid and arresting and yet another cut set to demolish any dancefloor it crosses. Check it out below.
