Premiere: Xen Chron ‘Wrong Dimension’

Xen Chron is next up on Mor Elian and Rhyw’s Fever AM with the ‘Deleted Vapor’ EP. Hear the broken techno rhythms and shapeshifting sci-fi electronics of ‘Wrong Dimension’ now

Mor Elian and Rhyw’s Fever AM returns with its first EP of the year next month, Xen Chron’s ‘Deleted Vapor’.

Landing on the first Bandcamp Friday of 2021, 5th February, the Weymouth, Massachusetts-based producer’s five-track EP is bursting with warped club rhythms and dizzying effect-mutations. With a near 20 year history in production – having dabbled in d&b, techno and plenty of styles besides in that time – Xen Chron’s Fever AM debut is an amorphous rave-ready beast. Juggling genres with playful abandon and a sci-fi flourish, this EP should be the soundtrack to many a peak-time dancefloor’s dizzy spell, and we predict it absolutely will be once clubs are open again.

‘Wrong Dimension’ is the EP’s propulsive broken techno centrepiece: a shapeshifting thundercloud of bass, breaks and swirling effects. It’s absolutely massive. Check it out below.
