Violet will release a new EP on her own naive label for the first time in three years this month.

Across three original cuts, accompanied by a typically top-notch remix from Eris Drew, ‘Espírito’ finds the Lisbon-based DJ and producer aiming straight for the dancefloor. From the tough techno rhythms of the title track to the cosmic breakbeats of ‘Psyche’, the EP balances club heft with hypnotism perfectly. It’s a balance Violet’s shown a knack for again and again, from her last EP on naive, ‘Togetherness’, to her 2019 debut LP, ‘Bed Of Roses’ on Dark Entries.

Below, you can hear ‘After Forever’, an energising cut of percussive NYC-style house, with a hedonistic hardcore flair sizzling beneath its rolling rhythm. Check it out ahead of the EP’s full release on 23rd April.
