Premiere: Pierre Codarin 'Blue & Green'
Barcelona-based imprint Slice launch their sister label, Watermelon, with an EP of slick club cuts. Listen to Pierre Cordarin's percussive roller, 'Blue & Green', now
New label Watermelon will launch with a three-track EP this week.
Serving as a sister label to Barcelona-based, vinyl-only imprint Slice, Watermelon's first release is a package of three slick club cuts courtesy of Neik, FUSE affiliate Pierre Codarin, and Watermelon founders, Triad.
Opening on the A-side with a nine-minute roller from Neik, 'WaM01' has garnered early support from the likes of tINI, Mihai Popoviciu, and Voigtmann, settling itself as a mainstay among the minimal heads.
On B1 'Blue & Green', Pierre Codarin conjures a frenzy with four-four percussion and a bubbling bassline, breaking up the track's foundations with off-kilter rhythms and weird chords.
