Premiere: Manakinz 'Snakehips'

Manakinz will release their new EP, 'Snakehips', later this month.
The duo, comprised of Glaswegian DJ and producer, Harri, who boasts over two decades as a resident at the city's Sub Club, alongside Affi Koman, a renowned, popular DJ within Glasgow's thriving clubbing scene.
The imprint, founded by Harri's son and fellow Scottish selector Jasper James in 2018, has seen releases from James himself, as well as DJ Samo, and Amsterdam's De School resident, Elias Mazian.
The forthcoming EP from Manakinz is three tracks of vibrant house music, infused with electro sentiments and chunky drum patterns. Building in intensity throughout its seven minutes, the heady 'Snakehips' weaves through hypnotic percussion, with short bursts of soulful vocals taking the club-ready track deeper still.
