Premiere: Liam Doc 'Jamie On Acid'

Glasgow's Liam Doc presents a warped disco three-tracker on his own Eyeangle Records sub-label, Roux Records. Hear the bubbling acid lines and high-octane energy of 'Jamie On Acid' now

Liam Doc will drop a new EP later this month.

The Glaswegian DJ/producer, currently holding residencies at both the city's Sub Club and with promoters FLY, has been steadily climbing the ranks for some time, performing alongside and B2B with the likes of Denis Sulta and Nightwave.

Incoming on Doc's own Roux Records, a sub-label of his primary label Eyeangle Records, 'Anakin' blurs the lines between disco, house and acid, and features live percussion, as well as a track alongside Newcastle party-starter, Elliot Adamson.

The EP's closer, 'Jamie On Acid' gets its name from Jamie Robertson, who serves up a healthy dose of live percussion. It's a warped banger with disco sentiments, simmering on acid lines and hard drums, adding some abrasive, high-octane energy to an otherwise groove-laden set of productions.

Listen to 'Jamie On Acid' below and pre-order 'Anakin', out on 13th December, here.
