Illegal Data will release a debut compilation next month.
The Bristol-based club night and label, founded by one half of electronic duo Giant Swan, Harry, aka Mun Sing, alongside friend NE$$, will release 'Illegal Data Compilation #1' on the 6th December, followed by a launch party on the 13th.
Among the artists recruited for the compilation are Six Figure Gang's L U C Y, Manchester-based DJ and producer AYA (fka LOFT), Jennifer Walton, and O$VMV$O. Don Sinini also appears on the mixtape, as well as TEEN and Mouse, who'll also perform at the launch party.
Producer Emily Glass opens the compilation with 'Uvula', kicking off the EP with glitched electronics and bright stoccatos, before a distorted vocal loop of 'Peanut Butta' skips on the beat. Glass slows the tempo down in the tracks final minutes, ending on a rumbling, dubbed-out, low-end.
