Premiere: Chippy Nonstop x DJ Genderfluid ‘Why Did You Block Me?'

Chippy Nonstop and dj genderfluid will release a collaborative LP on 7th May. 

The album marks Dubai-born, Toronto-based rapper, producer and DJ Chippy Nonstop’s first full-length release in seven years. It sees her teaming up with Toronto’s dj genderfluid for a high-energy love letter to the rave, with each of the 11 original tracks representing a different element of a party.

Set for release via dj genderfluid’s WET TRAX label, the album taps into both artists’ electrifying styles: Chippy’s rousing vocal hooks and verses are carried on DJ genderfluid’s animated, dancfloor-driven productions, which sprint from propulsive techno and electro into ‘90s rave nostalgia and d&b. 

With breakneck rhythms, maximal melodies and sizzling bass lines, it’s an album that begs to be heard in the club. Until that's possible, the tracks still sound totally satisfying on headphones. Ahead of the album’s release in May, you can hear 'Why Did You Block Me?' below now.
