Premiere: Can Love Be A Synth ‘Marzipan’

Berlin’s FIGURE label readies its second ‘Open Space’ ambient compilation. Hear Can Love Be A Synth’s arpeggiated dreamscape, ‘Marzipan’, now

Berlin label FIGURE will release the second edition of its ‘Open Space’ ambient compilation series this month. Listen to Can Love Be A Synth’s contribution, ‘Marzipan’, below.

Following last year’s first edition, which found various artists exploring different branches of ambient electronic music, this second outing offers 14 brand new tracks. Contributions to ‘Open Space Volume 2’ come from artists including KMRU, Len Faki, Max Cooper, Laraaji and Earthen Sea.

The ‘Open Space’ compilation series is described as aiming “to open up possibilities for artists to freely pursue their creativity in a completely undefined area, a space for exploration and connection.”

Can Love Be A Synth’s ‘Marzipan’ is a sweet, cosmic dreamscape built on lush synth arpeggios and an off-kilter pulse.

‘Open Space Volume 2’ will be on 6th December. Pre-order it here
