:3LON has launched a label, PLUR.net, with a new single, 'Quantum Leaping', or 'QL'. You can hear Mobilegirl’s remix of the track below.
The Baltimore-based producer, singer and songwriter dropped the original mix on 14th January; their tender vocal delivery is underpinned by nostalgic breaks and rich electronic flourishes. This is emotional rave music beamed straight from the future.
The track will appear on PLUR.net’s debut EP, ‘Eden’, next month. In the meantime, Berlin-based DJ and producer Mobilegirl has delivered a luxurious, cosmic cumbia-inflected house remix of the track, which will be officially released tomorrow (21st January). Last year, :3LON appeared on Scratchclart's (AKA Scratcha DVA) 'Afrotek' EP on Hyperdub, and had a track feature on SHERELLE's 'BEAUTIFUL PRESENTS: BEAUTIFUL VOL.1'. They were also featured in DJ Mag's monthly list of Emerging Artist You Need To Hear in October 2021.
