Top 100 DJs 2017 - Results Night Preview

With Miller Genuine Draft

This Saturday, the Top 100 DJs Awards show takes place in Amsterdam. The World's No.1 DJ will be crowned live on stage at Amsterdam Music Festival in front of 35,000 people.

But who are the likely candidates for the crown? Last year, Martin Garrix became the youngest ever winner. Can he make history by winning the award for a second time? Or could 2015's winners, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, return to the top spot?

Hardwell - who won the poll in 2013 and 2014 - is always a key contender. As is Armin Van Buuren, the most successful DJ in Top 100 DJs history. With five No.1 Awards to his name, The Dutchman would love to make it number six.

And then there are global superstars such as Tiesto, David Guetta, Skrillex, Oliver Heldens, Steve Aoki or Afrojack, to name just a few...

With so many contenders for the crown, this is set to be the most compelling reveal to date.

More generally, 2017 has been a thrilling year in dance music. A wave of new artists have broken through and global superstars like Marshmello, The Chainsmokers and Alan Walker have grown exponentially, dominating the main stages and pop charts alike.

In more underground circles, the house music resurgence continues at pace. And techno – in it's percussive and melodic forms – is bigger than it has ever been. Can this growth impact the Top 100 DJs results?

You won't have to wait much longer to find out. The results will be announced on Saturday 21st October, via a social countdown on Instagram and Twitter from 9:42pm CEST.

There will also be a live stream of the Awards Ceremony on our Facebook and YouTube pages from 12:45am CEST on Sunday 22nd October. Subscribe to our YouTube channel to be notified when we go live.
