Ibiza Closings 2018 - the essential parties not to miss

As Ibiza 2018's curtain call approaches, the island's biggest venues, brands and artists are gearing up for their final events of the year - traditionally the biggest and best of the season. These are the 2018 Ibiza closing parties that should be on your party radar...

THURSDAY 4TH OCTOBER

AFTERLIFE CLOSING PARTY
@ HI IBIZA

Tale of Us' weekly exploration of futuristic melodic techno has been one of the big success stories from Hi Ibiza's sophomore year. Their closing party pulls together some of the scene's biggest artists. From Âme and Maceo Plex, to Ben Klock and Marcel Dettmann, this is a stunning 360 degree techno line up. Add in live performances from Stephan Bodzin and Recondite alongside a set from Tale of Us themselves, and you have a serious seasonal swansong!
 

FRIDAY 5TH OCTOBER

HOT SINCE 82 A LABYRINTH STORY
@ PACHA

Hot Since 82, real name Daley Padley – who graced the cover of our second Ibiza special this season – has very much made Pacha his own in 2018. For the final Labyrinth party of the season Daley welcomes a bonafide Pacha legend, Erick Morillo, to the booth. Room two meanwhile keeps it real with island originals DJ Pippi and Willie Graff.

MUSIC ON
@ AMNESIA

The island's de-facto heavyweight techno champ, Music On will keep it simple for this year's closing. Boss man Marco Carola is joined on the Terrace by Lauren Lane, while Stacey Pullen and Leon run things in the Club room. But don't think it's over when the doors close (see below)...

SATURDAY 6TH OCTOBER

PRIVILEGE & MUSIC ON CLOSING
@ PRIVILEGE

When Marco Carola closes his Music On party at Amnesia, it's really just the beginning. From 6pm on Saturday the Neapolitan techno behemoth will rock up to Privilege to carry on proceedings (and host Privilege's closing at the same time). Carola kicks off with a sunset set in Vista Club, before going back to back with The Martinez Brothers in the main room.

ANTS & USHUAÏA CLOSING PARTY
@ USHUAÏA

Ibiza's defining outdoor venue's 2018 finale features in-house techno brand Ants. The 'colony' will be soundtracked by Ant's leading light Andrea Oliva alongside Carl Craig, Luciano, Solardo, Steve Lawler and Richie Ahmed, to name just a few.

Confetti cannons at the ready! Ibiza's most colourful night bids adios to summer 2018 with sets from Joris Voorn, Claptone and wAFF B2B De La Swing on The Terrace. The club room meanwhile features an all night set from Eats Everything.

SUNDAY 7TH OCTOBER

SOLOMUN +1
@ PACHA

Solomun's +1 night deals in elegant simplicity. Each week the melodic house master invites one of his favourite artists to join him at Pacha, for what has become one of the island's busiest nights. You could say that enlisting Keinemusik for the closing fiesta plays fast and loose with this simplicity (Keinemusik is a collective featuring, among others, Adam Port, &Me and Rampa), but when the music is this good, who are we to complain?

DEFECTED IN THE HOUSE
@ EDEN

It's a huge line up for Defected's final ibiza dance of 2018. Dennis Ferrer, Amine Edge & DANCE and Danny Howard join regulars Simon Dunmore and Sam Divine for a night of pure 4-4 grooves.

MONDAY 8TH OCTOBER

CIRCOLOCO

The chaos and magic of CircoLoco's closing party has to be seen to be believed. As always, the line up won't be announced until the week of the event, but expect the club's biggest and brightest artists to be spread between the clubs two main rooms and the Garden stage - built especially for the closing fiesta.
