Premiere: Robert Cosmic & Saigg ‘Translate’

An intercontinental electro link up between Argentina and Spain on Bogotá’s Furatena label

Bogotá’s Furatena label returns this month with a collaborative EP from Robert Cosmic and Saigg, ‘Superficial Information’. Listen to ‘Translate’ below.

Following on from label founder Binary Algorithms’ sharp-shooting techno collab with Chicago’s Zvrra last October, the imprint takes a step back toward its roots here, delivering an intercontinental electro link up between Argentina (Saigg) and Spain (Cosmic). They’re not fucking about either. These five tracks inject their Drexciyan foundations with jet fuel, tailoring them for peak time sets from the likes of DJ Stingray 313 and Helena Hauff.

The techno thrust remains though, bolstering the EP’s retro bleeps, glitches and acid sizzles with pounding four-to-the-floor kicks, readying them for festival sound systems wherever they land. ‘Translate’ even slings some vintage rave flavours around its scorching 303 riff.

It’s all killer no filler stuff, and it’s out this Friday 16th February. Pre-order it here
