Moscoman will release a new two-tracker later this week via Disco Halal. Have an exclusive first listen to ‘Wait’ below.

Almost exactly a year since the release of his fiery fifth EP, ‘Rob The Plants’, the Tokyo-based DJ and producer returns to his Disco Halal imprint with a new double helping of adventurous club music. The project stitches chants and psychedelic atmospheres into industrial basslines as Moscoman continues to explore the space between new-wave, house, techno, and disco.

On the late-night roller ‘Wait’, eerie minor keys dance across urgent tech beats for a cut that brims with emotion and bangs with power, whilst ‘Best Trance’ lives up to its name on the flip with warm, soul-searching synths and a progressive kick. Tethered together by an undercurrent of melancholy, these are cuts designed to get you up in your feels as you get down on the ’floor.

In addition to his solo work, Moscoman is also the founder of the Disco Halal label. Established in 2015, the imprint has become home to forward-thinking releases from friends and collaborators across the globe.

‘Wait’ is available in both digital and vinyl formats from 29th March. Pre-save the EP here, and have an exclusive first listen to the title track below.
