gyrofield readies two razor sharp cuts of electro, breakbeat and acid rave fusionism

gyrofield will self-release a new two-tracker, ‘Snake Charmer / Missed Call(s)’, this week. Have an exclusive first listen to ‘Missed Call(s)’ below.

The Hong Kong-born, Bristol-based producer, whose releases have appeared on labels including Metalheadz, Critical and Noisia’s VISION, continues her hit streak with another suite of razor sharp dancefloor material. Fusing shards of electro, breakbeat and timeless rave trademarks with a healthy splash of acid, these tracks once again demonstrate gyrofield’s innovative flair for bass-soaked genre hybrids.

“'Missed Call(s)' is electric,” they said of the release. “From the humming bass foundation, to squelchy breaks and drum machine manipulation, to the playful rave stabs dancing atop... I've decided to self release a series of singles taken from sessions this year. With the volatility of the industry I am seeking to findy own rhythm and autonomy again as an artist.  My biggest label releases yet to come, but the desire to release music in a timely way prevails.”

‘Snake Charmer / Missed Call(s)’ lands this Friday (2nd December). Buy it via Bandcamp
