The Lisbon-based Australian DJ distils the luxurious energy of her sets into the track, and its accompanying B-Side ‘Out Of Your Mind’. Healthy dashes of disco, balearic beat and deep, proggy house combine like the brightly-coloured components of a good cocktail, stirred to perfection and served up in glass rimmed with spice.
‘Chez Moi’ features Janet Planet from Aussie electro pop duo Confidence Man, who lends a hazy vocal refrain to CC:DISCO!’s sun-kissed synth plucks, trancey samples and pumping beat. It feels laser-focused on the festival floor – the sort of tune that becomes 10 times as powerful as the sun begins to set.
‘Out Of Your Mind’ is a touch more nocturnal, but no less euphoric. Its deep grooves, velvety vocal samples and echoing synths take influence from iconic New York house clubs like Sound Factory or Danceteria – a sweet, sweaty blend of hedonism and glamour.
