Byron The Aquarius will make his debut on Low Recordings later this week with a new four-tracker, ‘Love 4 Music’. Have an exclusive first listen to ‘Creepin With U’ below.

The Birmingham, Alabama-based innovator continues to refine his cosmic and jazzy take on house music with an EP of two different but equally alluring halves. Landing 29th March, the project’s A-side delivers robust club hits, with a twinkle of lo-fi goodness, whilst Side B winds up somewhere closer to sun-drenched soul, R&B and deep house.

Haunting chords give way to a spacious, warehouse-ready kick on opener ‘Creepin’ With U’, before ‘Work That Girl (Tribal Mix)’ ups the ante with boisterous, acid-tinged grooves, clacking hats and snares, and Byron’s trademark muted vocals weaving in and out of the mix.

On the flip, ‘Inner Visions’ is airy and light – led towards its shimmering crescendo by a walking bass line, muted keys, and warm, classic house synthwork – before the R&B-tinged ‘Make Me Feel’ rounds out the EP with a sultry ode to feeling gooooood.

The EP follows up Byron’s latest album, ‘FXCK BEATPORT LP’, released in January, and his stellar 2019 debut record ‘Astral Travelling’, with touchstones in every project in between. We dare you to try and sit still through this one.

‘Love 4 Music’ is out 29th March on Low Recordings. Pre-order the EP here, and have an exclusive first listen to ‘Creepin With U’ below.
