Premiere: AK Sports ‘Lockdown In The Big Smoke’

AK SPorts will release a new EP, ‘Eurostar’, via Asquith’s Higher Power label tomorrow. Listen to ‘Lockdown In The Big Smoke’ below. 

The Sydney-born, LA-based DJ and producer follows up their debut release on Asquith’s other label, Lobster Theremin, with four cuts of ferocious techno with lashings breakbeat hardcore and trance added in for good measure. 

These tracks don’t mess about, and are inspired in part by the artist’s origins in the Aussie warehouse rave scene. Huge kicks, distorted melodies and relentless NRG make for some proper ceiling-shaking material, in keeping with the label’s formidable output to date.
