New York-based twin DJ and production duo Coco & Breezy have released a new single single, ‘Off My Mind’ featuring UK vocalist Sam White. Listen to it below.
Out now via NYC’s Free Your Soul/Moodswing Music, the sun-kissed house heater is dedicated to the pair’s late father, who was a rich source of inspiration to them both personally and musically.
Speaking on the new single, they said: “Through ‘Off My Mind,’ we honour our late father, guided by a divine connection. As we closed our eyes, memories formed a vivid collage, shaping this heartfelt tribute. Serendipitously released on Father’s Day weekend, it embodies his love and spirit.”
Sonically, the track reaches deep into the duo’s tableau of musical influences, infusing classic and soulful house elements with the infectious organic grooves of Latin and tribal percussion. Topped with a velveteen vocal from London-based singer, Sam White, it’s a real summer mover, with a warm sentiment to match.
The single follows up Coco & Breezy’s stellar remix of Janelle Monae’s ‘FLOAT’, released in April via Wondaland productions, and produced while the twins were warming up for Channel Tres on his Spring European tour.
