WMC Thursday 22 March

30. Remix Hotel Logic Tuition

For the fifth year running, the National Hotel on Collins Avenue will be transformed into the 'Remix Hotel' – a hub of technology showcases, production masterclasses and DJ performances. If you're just struggling to grapple with Logic, then swing by today for some nerdy know-how to guide you through...

31. Pioneer Boat Party

The twisted acidic sounds of James Zabiela and Nic Fanciulli inspire some nautical naughtiness on the Pioneer Boat Party. The boat sets sail at 5pm from Fontainebleau so if you've grabbed one of the exclusive invites don't get left ashore!

32. Rivera's Juicy Beach Marathon

It doesn't get much better than letting the Miami rays soak in on Nikki Beach as another classic tune sends the beach babes crazy. Which makes Robbie Rivera's Juicy Beach bash a bit of a must. Not only is Juicy's 17-hour marathon the strip's biggest party of the round but also boasts one of the largest line-ups at the conference with Benny Benassi, Gabriel & Dresden, Axwell, Judge Jules, Harry Romero and Dutch Detroit lover Fedde Le Grande. It kicks off at 7pm.

33. M-Nus and Clonk

Laden with an old school bus, a vintage airplane fuselage and other cult clutter, a trip to the Pawn Shop Lounge always delivers one of Miami's best party experiences. With Hawtin and Magda teasing us from minimal to maximal, this techno session could even nudge Howells' party as the best of the week. Troy Pierce, Adam Beyer and Marco Carola deliver minimal, funkin' techno and European grooves in room two. We'll see you on the dancefloor.

34. Urban Outfitters

We might have 'em back home in Blighty but Urban Outfitters is the perfect place to take advantage of the pound's dominance against the dollar. Get down to the Collins Avenue store and load up on smart clobber that would do twice as much wallet damage back home. Just don't forget to lose the tags or the customs Nazis might lynch you.

35. Porterhouse

A bit of a Miami favourite of ours, Porterhouse Miami will see the affable Steve Porter (see what they did there?) dishing out another funk-fuelled selection of fresh, flavoursome electro-house with dashes of prog and breaks. Catch the funky-assed Porter in action at the plush, decadently draped venue The Fifth.

36. Tantra

More a sensual assault on your senses than an eating experience alone, if you're feeling indulgent a meal at Miami Beach's Eastern influenced Tantra restaurant is always a special experience. The carpets are made of fresh cut grass, rich incense burns in the air and the exquisitely conceived menu is an example of fusion food at its finest.

37. Buzzin' Fly

Ben Watt's Buzzin' Fly label hasn't been short on props lately and with good reason. Tonight they take their quality futurenudging house sounds to the chic, intimate Sobe Live venue located in the heart of South Beach. An all-night affair kicking off at 10pm, DJs are Ben Watt, Jimpster, Justin Martin and Portugal's Alex Sanos.

38. Essential Breaks 2.0

A 14-hour breakbeat marathon at Collins Avenue's Spy Lounge with Stanton Warriors, Meat Katie, Rogue Element, Deekline and Wizard, The Breakfastaz, ED209 and Ctrl Z all playing. It's also one of the WMC's few free parties so if you like your beats big, broken and meaty, make this one to check.

39. Get Physical Miami

Decisions, decisions, decisions... pulled in all sorts of directions on Thursday, Get Physical's all-night session certainly has two pincers locked on our rave gonads with M.A.N.D.Y., Booka Shade (live) and Claude von Stroke all dropping their chic Eurocentric electronics at Downtown's Studio A.

40. Formation's World Of Drum & Bass

Drum & bass might not be the first thing you associate with Miami but with Florida's scene bubbling it always holds a solid WMC presence. Prize brock-out is Formation's 'World Of Drum & Bass' at the colossal Area 51 with DJ SS's label celebrating a whopping 17 years of existence. A who's who of global deebee talent will join the Formation king pin, including Goldie, Grooverider, Shy FX, Norway's Teebee and Japan's Makoto.

41. Map Dance

Swiss label Map Dance pair up with Dolce and Italian label Go Deeva for We Love House, 'The Bikini Edition'. If soulful house and garage is your bag, then get down to the smart Rain venue this evening where Mr Mike, Rocco, Groove Junkies and (hopefully) a club full of bikini babes will be getting their freak on.

42. Bad Taste & Upfront Industries

D&b overlords invade one of Miami's palm tree swept islands for a daytime balls-tothe- wall brock-out. Rinsing the breakbeat pressure from 11am - 8pm will be Friction, Mampi Swift, Hive, Sub Focus, Calyx, Makoto and many more.

43. Om & DJ Magazine Present Om: Miami

Beautiful, beautiful people and classy house music... yep, it's the super-cool Om Record's annual Miami session, in association your favourite magazine. Opting for the slick, multi-million dollar sanctuary of the Y Ultralounge, Om have amassed their most glittering Miami lineup yet. Don't take our word for it either... try DJ Sneak, Hipp-E, Mr C, Mike Monday, Kiko Navarro and DJ Heather on for size. Quirky live house act The Greenskeepers will add their effervescent, off-the-wall energy whilst eclectic beats come from Bugz In The Attic and Peter Kruder.

44. X Mix Party X

Mix host their seventh annual party at the WMC and for fans of quality US house it's a little bit special too. Armand Van Helden, scratchmaster Badboy Bill, DJ Sneak, Junior Sanchez, Todd Terry and Mark Farina all drop in to Miami Beach's glam Suite Lounge. Maybe you should too...

45. Above & Beyond

The saviours of trance, Anjuna Beats' Above & Beyond take B.E.D. on an allnight journey through the deeper reaches of their euphoric sound on the Thursday.

46. Front Porch Café

After a liquid lunch and a chemical dinner, breakfast is always the most important meal in Miami and they don't come much better (or bigger) than Front Porch Café's. Breakfast burritos, pancakes and fruit, scrambled eggs with all the trimmings... the choices are endless and served up in giant sized portions.
