WELCOME THE ALL NEW PIONEER DDJ-SB

Pioneer release their brand new controller just in time for the festive rush. The new DDJ-SB is Pioneer’s new entry level controller for Serato Intro or Serato DJ and continues in the tradition of previous Pioneer controllers by offering pro performance at an entry level price point. 

The DDJ-SB is even more compact and portable than Pioneer’s stop of the range DDJ-SX and DDJ-SR controllers, yet it offers the same hands on control of all the major features to be found in Serato’s digital DJing software.

DJs can be happy with the fact that the DDJ-SB comes with Serato’s DJ Intro software for straight out of the box plug and play performance with access available to Serato Intro’s software’s loops, Hot Cues, samples and FX. Or if you’re in the market for the Pro edition software that the big boys use, DJs can purchase the full Serato DJ and discover even more tasty features that the premium version of the software offers.

There are many new features on the DDJ-SB that are not included on the SX or SR and one of those is the industry’s first Filter Fade, which helps new DJs create seamless mixes by adding a high pass filter to the crossfader – enabling smoother transitions with just one control. So DJs can have a free hand to remix and mash-up tracks using the DDJ-SB’s tactile performance controls, including eight Performance Pads, two highly responsive jog wheels, and manual high/low pass filters on each channel.

Pioneer are also offering a dedicated website with support for DDJ-SB users, showing them the basics from setting-up, preparing and mixing, and advanced skills such as scratching and recording.

Pioneer’s new DDJ-SB is ultra compact, light and USB powered all the requiments needed to ensure it is easy to throw into a gig bag and rock up ready for action. As usual the DDJ-SB is built to Pioneer’s hi quality standards and is robust and stylish enough to find itself in any DJing environment.
