Pioneer DJ Launch New DJ Headphones: Watch

The HDJ-S7 are endorssed by the likes of Jackmaster, Peggy Gou and Chris Lake...

Pioneer DJ have launched some new DJ headphones called the HDJ-S7s. The new headphones have been designed to be ultra durable, smaller in form factor and with higher quality sound, all input from the "world-renowned" DJs who helped design them. With a frequency range of 5Hz to 40kHz – the same spectrum as their flagship HDJ-X10s – Pioneer DJ claim you'll "pick up on greater separation of rich bass tones and clear mid-to-high frequencies".

They've also been rigorously tested for the rough and tumble lifestyle of a DJ on the road, passing the US Military Standard Shock test, so any dancefloor bombs shouldn't affect things. With an adjustable headband that can swivel up to 45 degrees, they also come with a two-year warranty so you can get them replaced after any disasters. Why not pair the new cans with Pioneer DJ's latest controller the DDJ-SB3? Or for studio work, Sennheiser's update to their much-loved HD-650s is here
