Moog preview build-your-own synth, Subharmonicon

The synth is being offered exclusively to Moogfest attendees...

Moog have teased a new build-your-own synth the Subharmonicon. Seemingly following the same form factor as their DFAM percussion synth and Mother-32 mono synth, the Subharmonium is designed around a mathematical music composition forumla developed by Russian composer and music theorist Joseph Schillinger.

If you want your hands on the new synth, it's initially exclusive to Moogfest attendees who have an Engineer Pass and you'll have to build the synth yourself over a two-day course.

In the past, various Moog synths have started out as DIY kits before making it to full producion so it's possible we'll see the Subharmonicon on retail shelves one day.
