“We are really good friends so hopefully we can make that happen...”

Norweigan melodic master Kygo has revealed in a recent interview with RTL Entertainment that he is in discussions with his good friend Martin Garrix to record a song for his new studio album.

When asked who he would like to work with during the interview, the Norwegian DJ and producer mentioned the usual names like Ed Sheeran and The Weeknd.

But he also revealed that he would like to work with his long-time friend, and two-time Top 100 DJs winner, Martin Garrix.

“I’ve been talking to Martin Garrix about making a song together for my new album. That’d be very cool. We are really good friends so hopefully, we can make that happen!”.

In 2017, Kygo’s second album ‘Kids in Love’ debuted at number one on Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Album chart, the DJ and producer also scored a number one with his 2016 debut album ‘Cloud Nine’.

Martin Garrix recently released a brand new track, 'Happy', under his AREA21 alias, a name reserved for his collaborative work with Detroit-based singer/rapper, Maejor.
