Goodgreef Newcastle

Top hard dance and trance promoter Goodgreef will launch a new monthly clubnight in Newcastle from June. Junior G will showcase up and coming DJ talent.

Major hard dance and trance promoter Goodgreef has announced that it will start a new, monthly clubnight in Newcastle, north England from Friday 12 May.

Junior G will be held in the Cosmic Ballroom, Chinatown, which has a capacity of just 400, and will push tech trance and hard dance in one room, with tough electro house in the other.

"We're going to use the night as a breeding stable for fresh DJs and producers," says Barry Almond from Goodgreef.

"We have always mixed our line-ups with the freshest up and coming talent, and developed the likes of BBC Radio 1's Eddie Halliwell, and the Trophy Twins."

Goodgreef: New DJ Talent

Proof that Junior G is committed to promoting new talent can be found in its line-ups, as John Askew is headlining alongside relative unknowns Shan, Richard Tulip, Mark Maitland, and James Anderson.

"Not enough promoters support fresh up and coming UK and overseas talent," commented Ben Spier, Junior G's co-promoter.
