Get the whole of SSL's plugin suite for only $14.99 a month via Gobbler. The new subscription model was announced yesterday and includes the SSL Channel Strip, Buss Compressor, DrumStrip, VocalStrip, X-Comp, X-EQ and more. The plugins were previously available directly through SSL at a price of £849, so it's a significantly less entry level point, though if you do want to own the plugins outright, they're still available as buy-to-own.
The official SSL plugins have been around for a while, initially starting out as a DSP box and then moving to a Native range, before now joining the subscription world. Their equipment and consoles have been the sound of endless hit records for decades and their buss compressor is famous for it's tight, controlled sound. You can get your hands on the plugs for $14.99 a month here. If you've blown all your budget on the plugs, SONAR has relaunched as a free DAW called Cakewalk by Bandlab.
