EDC Las Vegas lines up Eric Prydz, Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Green Velvet, more for 2018 festival

The theme for this year's extravaganza in Las Vegas is "Kinetic Love"...

Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas has announced the theme for its 2018 edition along with its enormous line-up.

The bill for this year's festival is suitably huge, with Martin Garrix, Eric Prydz, Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Green Velvet, Diplo, Porter Robinson's Virtual Self and many more locked to perform.

EDC's founder and Insomnica promotions CEO Pasquale Rotella made the announcement yesterday 14th February on his Night Owl Radio show and via Facebook. The theme for the festival, which will be returning to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway from 18th - 20th May, is "Kinetic Love".

"KineticFIELD is where the spirit of EDC is transmitted, it represents the core of the festival," he wrote in his Facebook announcement, "Last year’s theme was kineticGAIA, symbolizing our Mother Earth and the care we need to show for our sacred planet. In 2018 it's all about LOVE and the connections we share with one another. In this world we live in, it's more important than ever that we strengthen those bonds between us.”

Several headliners, promoters and industry members recieved special gifts yesterday, including candy love hearts with names of other performers written on them.

The full line-up flyer will be made available shortly, showing the full cast of DJs and artists playing the festival across its eight stages. In the meantime, you can watch the full line-up reveal video below.

This will be the first year that EDC will have camping at the festival. EDC will be expanding to have more events in Asia this year with showcases in the works to take place in China
