Diplo releases second LSD, ‘Audio’: Watch

Diplo has released the second track for LSD, his new supergroup alongside pop superstar Sia and London R&B artist Labrinth.

Following up on their first single, ‘Genius’, which dropped last week, LSD now returns with a new track and accompanying music video via ‘Audio’. The new video follows a similar trippy aesthetic from the animated clip for ‘Genius’, except the visual for ‘Audio’ features animations overlaid IRL footage of a car scene in the Los Angeles River and a choreographed dance sequence featuring a kid performer. Directed by Ernest Desumbila, the ‘Audio’ video also revives the cartoon versions of Diplo, Sia and Labrinth that were first seen in the ‘Genius’ clip.

The group is currently working on an album, which will most likely feature both ‘Genius’ and ‘Audio’.

Diplo has been keeping busy on the musical front lately. Tomorrow (Friday, 11th May), he’s dropping ‘Stay Open’, a collaboration with singer MØ, who’s previously collaborated with the producer on the 2015 Major Lazer hit, ‘Lean On’. In March, he dropped his rap-heavy ‘California’ EP and also launched his brand-new Sirius XM channel, Diplo’s Revolution, during Miami Music Week. 

In other Diplo news, the producer also recently spoke in interviews about the profound influence both Skrillex and Calvin Harris have had on EDM over the past decade.
