Chris Liebing has announced a collaboration with Gary Numan, entitled ‘Polished Chrome (The Friend Pt.1)’.

Respectively a techno hero and electronic music legend, this is the second track to be unveiled from Liebing's forthcoming album, 'Burn Slow', which will also feature Miles Cooper Seaton, Aleen, Cold Cave and Polly Scattergood. The long-player is slated for release via renowned UK label Mute Records on 7th September. Fans are being told not to expect the usual full-pelt drums from Liebing, and instead prepare themselves for a minimalist electronic epic.

“I’ve wanted to do something like 'Burn Slow' all my life,” said Liebing, who announced his support for a wildlife conservation charity earlier this year.

Inspiration for the record has apparently come from the idea that everything is happening in this moment, and a desire to make music that favours heart over feet.

“If people would stay in the now, everything in the world would just have a bit more harmony,” he said.
