Belgian castle to host DJ Koze, Jayda G, Omar Souleyman, more for summer festival

Paradise City returns to Castle Ribaucourt for its 4th edition featuring Or:la, Call Super b2b Objekt, Jennifer Cardini and more...

Paradise City will return to the picturesque grounds of Castle Ribaucourt, Belgium from 29th June to 1st July.

The small festival, which is located just 15 minutes from Brussels city centre, announced the first wave of acts on its line up today with Call Super b2b Objekt, Jayda G, Laurent Garnier, Jennifer Cardini, DJ Koze, Or:la, KiNK, Dennis Horvat and Bedouin all locked to DJ at the event.

There will also be live sets from the likes of Omar Souleyman, Red Axes and Romare. There are still 52 acts left to be announced.

Now entering its fourth outing, Paradise City has consistently endeavoured to be a green, environmentally friendly festival. In 2017 it received a Highly Commended Award at the A Greener Festival Awards. Last year, the festival made the switch to biofuel generators from fuel generators and used solar power as much as possible, considerably reducing the emissions produced by the festival. This year, all of the stages and festival decor will be made entirely from recycled materials.

Paradise City is not the only festival taking place in such a picturesque location this year. The similarly environmentally conscious Uva festival will take place on the grounds of a 15th-century Spanish monastery  in June. More interesting rave locations that have been announced lately include one in a massive german industrial park. There's also a big open air party happening in Disneyland Paris.
