If your year so far has been a blur of weekend-long benders, dodged lectures, frantically crammed revisions and breakdown inducing exam timetables, then Beach Break Live should be the first essential date on your summer calendar.
Now in its third year, the UK’s only student festival is moving to a beautiful new site of silky white sands and verdant woodland. Line-up wise there’s plenty of obvious student favourites, but equally a whole load of raucous rave instigators — Toddla T, High Contrast, Fake Blood, Jack Beats, Nero and Dub Pistols Soundsystem are all on board. Boutique offerings like rock ‘n’ rolling Moustache Bar, vintage funfair and local pub (promising World Cup games, open mic nights, pub quizzes and karaoke) seal Beach Break’s deal as a truly supreme student smash-up.
