Avicii invests in Swedish cold coffee start-up, MODE Cold Brew

He's hoping to start a cold coffee revolution...

Avicii has announced that he has invested in a Swedish cold brew coffee company called MODE Cold Brew.

Speaking about his recent investment in the Swedish coffee startup, Avicii said: “In the studio, I have always relied on energy drinks until I discovered cold brew coffee.

“When Mode Cold Brew was launching in Sweden it just felt natural to be a part of that. When I had the first taste of Mode I knew that it was the right choice,” said Avicii.

The Swedish EDM star is currently on a touring hiatus after his punishing touring schedule caused the producer serious health complications in recent years.

More recently though, Bergling has begun to release new music and is currently gearing up for the release of his third studio album.

On his last EP, the Swede said: “I'm really excited to be back with music once again. It has been a long time since I released anything and a long time since I was this excited over new music.”

In an interview with Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1 last year, Bergling stated that the EP is one of three parts of his third studio album.
